IMPORTANT: Version 6.0.3 or later must be already installed on your computer in order to use this upgrade.
If you are now running version 5.1, 6.0, 6.0.1 or 6.0.2, you must download and run the INSTALLER. The installer always contains
the latest version of the M1 engine, so if you get the latest installer, there's usually no need to also download the upgrade file.
If you are going to put Music 1 on another computer, you must run the installer on the new machine, then copy/move your library file and Logs directory into the c:\Music 1 directory on the new machine. If you are running in multi-user mode and your library/database and Logs folder are on your server, you won't be moving them into the c:\-drive. Just install M1 on the new machine and then enable multi-user when you first start it after the installation.
After you fill in the form and click the submit button, you'll download a file named 'M1upgrade6.0.exe'. Save it to your desktop or to your downloads folder. When the download is complete, be
sure Music 1 is NOT running, then double-click on that file and it will extract into your c:\Music 1 directory and overwrite the older version. The 'M1upgrade6.0.exe' file can then be deleted from your computer.
