Every station that leases Music 1 version 6 is eligible to receive all upgrades as they are released. Those who purchase the LE or SE are eligible for free upgrades for one year after the date of purchase.

Version 6 has now been released. This is an extensive upgrade and we've posted a .pdf document with details. To get it, click here.

INSTALLING ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER
If you are putting M1 on a different computer, you must run the "installer" for your version. After that, you then move your library file ((station).m1 or (station).mdb) and THE Logs sub-directory into the newly created M1 directory on the machine.

If you've already installed M1 version on the computer, you need only get the upgrade file matching the version you are using, (6x, LE, SE or V.6 for Live365).

VERSION 6 Upgrade Only
Get this file if version 6.0.3 or later is already installed on your computer.

VERSION 6 Installer
You'll need to run the Installer to upgrade from version 5 to version 6. The installer always contains the most up to date version of M1, so there is no need to get the current "upgrade" file after you run the current installer.

MUSIC 1 SE Version 2
If you purchased M1 Se Version 1 after June 1, 2007, upgrading to version 2 is free. If you purchased Se1 earlier than Jul 1, 2007, you may purchase this upgrade for $50. Contact Steve at the M1 office for instructions.

Rainbow Key Driver
In some stations, Music 1 is protected with a hardware key, also called a 'dongle'. A special driver is required in order for the key to be recognized by the Windows operating system. To download the Rainbow Key Driver, click here and save the file to your desktop. It is named: rainbow.exe  After download, run the file to install the driver. You can then delete the rainbow.exe from your computer.
